Addcrete Anti - Dust is an easy to use product that can eliminate powdering and dusting concrete. Concrete can become dusty or powdery on the surface for a number of reasons, such as the concrete being affected by rain or the concrete has had excess water added while being mixed. Both of these situations cause the cement-water ratio to be too high on the water side. This weakens the surface causing dusting or powdering.
Addcrete Anti - Dust reacts with the free lime present in the concrete surface and forms the product calcium silicate, a very hardwearing substance. It is applied by dissolving the powder into 20 ltr of water and pouring over the concrete. Use a clean broom to spread and do not allow puddles to form. Up to 3 coats may be applied depending on how effected the concrete is.
