Addcrete Concrete Stencil is an easy to use product that is a low maintenance and affordable alternative to paving and plain concrete.  Addcrete Concrete Stencil  combines the durability and low maintenance of concrete with the attractive colour and design of paving or slate.   Addcrete Concrete Stencil can be finished in a wide variety of effects (stipple, hit and miss, broom, flat) allowing each job to show unique characteristics.

Preparation

The concrete surface should be completely clean and free of all contaminants.

 

Application New Concrete

Addcrete Concrete Stencil should be applied to the damp concrete surface after bleedwater has evaporated.  Addcrete Concrete Stencil is gently trowled into the damp concrete prior to applying the Topping Colour over the surface.

Apply topping colour, or highlight flecking while the surface is still plastic to ensure bonding

After curing the stencil is removed to show the grouted look.

All surfaces must be sealed to ensure the long term finish.

 

Application Existing Concrete (Old Concrete)

Addcrete Concrete Stencil should be stuck to the dry clean concrete with blutack or stencil tape.  Addcrete Spray-On is gently applied over the stencil.

A second/third coat and any highlight flecking is applied.

After curing the stencil is removed to show the grouted look.

All surfaces must be sealed to ensure the long term finish.

 

 

Curing

As for concrete of strength rating specified.

 

Packaging / Coverage

Available in 100m and 50m rolls.  Wide range of petterns available, see Addcrete stencil chart.

 

Storage

Should be stored in original un-opened containers.  Must be stored away from all sources of moisture.

None.

TIP: Water-damaged concrete has a sandy or gritty surface that comes off easily when rubbed. Remove this loose material by sanding or etching. Prevent water or moisture from penetrating underneath your paint or peeling will occur.
